EPS-D0P is an DC brushed permanent magnet motor controller used as a steering system controller for industrial vehicles such as forklift, stackers…etc.
The basic working logic of EPS-D0P is interpreting commands input and wheel position feedbacks into controlling signals to steering wheels. Steering motor must be geared down significantly to achieve the high torque required to rotate the driving wheels. Typically, this is achieved by using a gearbox with a reduction ratio of approximately 200:1. Steering commands can be originated from a linear potentiometer, analog voltage sensor, or quadrature encoder. The command is interpreted as an absolute position or a relative position request.
EPS-D0P is compatible with DALA AC traction motor controller of corresponding communication protocols. It can also operate independently to perform the steering function.
